Yoga

Yoga

vinyasa Yoga

The Vinyasa practice is dynamic and fluid, with an emphasis of connecting breath to movement. The transitions between postures are smooth and continuous, which allows for heat to build up in the body. One can expect an energising and invigorating class.

This style of yoga is encouraged for practitioners who have a consistent Hatha practice.

Yin Yoga

This is a slow, meditative and gentle practice where postures are held passively for longer periods of time. This is done so to target the connective tissues, increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. One can expect to slow down and turn their focus inwards.

This style of yoga is accessible to practitioners of all levels.

Hatha Yoga

The word "hatha" is a combination of two Sanskrit words: "ha," meaning sun, and "tha," meaning moon. This represents the balance of opposing forces. Thus, in the Hatha practice, there is an emphasis on creating balance and alignment in the body, mind, and spirit.
One can expect static posture holds designed to strengthen and stretch the body.

This style of yoga is accessible to practitioners of all levels.

Conscious Connected Breathwork

Conscious Connected Breathwork

What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?

This is the purposeful application of continuous circular breathing guided in an intentional, trauma-informed container. The absence of pause in the breath cycle allows us to safely build oxygen levels, activating different areas of the brain to create new neural pathways. Through this hyperoxygenation, we are able to access non-ordinary, expanded states of consciousness. And this is where we being to unearth what is stagnant and repressed in our body, mind and spirit.

“Our wholeness includes all things which exist within us”

Why Breathwork?

Breath medicine is a powerful, life changing modality for those who are ready to venture deep into the most intimate parts of self. We bring life and energy back into the dormant, repressed or blocked parts of self by lovingly breathing into them. As we begin to retrieve and integrate the lost parts of self, we slowly return to our essential knowing, wholeness and reclaim our full sovereignty.

Sound Bath

When we are in a state of health, our vibrations are in harmony, but when we are out of balance, disease and ailments can occur. Sound therapy is where vibrations and frequencies of sound are used to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Thus, allowing one to return to a state of health.

Why sound therapy?

Sound therapy is often experienced as a deeply relaxing and meditative practice. The vibrations of the sound can help to calm the mind, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote a sense of peace and well-being.
